10th week :   27 July 2009 - 1 August 2009

This week...
I continue my design work for the EM2U's website..
at the almost end of my work, i need to re-do again for the content because was rejected by our boss.
>m<
so until now...
i also blurr-ing about wether it is consider finish anot...  =m=

Besides,
I also get involved with some editing for the 100templates that I done last time...
we all were assigned to add on some banner/button like edit profile, join now and tell a friend... to the 100templates...
because of my work for website...
i only able to make edition for a amount of 30+...  >w<

And at the end of this week...
which is the main important day for me ...because we go for charity work at ZOO NEGARA~~  >w<
hahaha^^

It's a very happi day...
but for me... it's seem to be a scary day cos i'm very blurr-ish until forget bring along my phone...>m<
then... due to that, i have my very 1st experience of asking phone from the petronas staff... >m<  hz...

working as the volunteer for ZOO, i was assigned to give help at the font-line (ticket checking) at the font gate
together with my gang of colleagues...  ^_^
abit disappointment cos dun have experienced to clean animal's living place~
but it's quite happi and cold too cos can get touch with many little kids when they come in to ZOO...
hee^^

starting up from 830am until 430pm for the volunteer job~~
i done a 1st aid job by taking the 1st aid box... waiting at a corner for few hours... hahaha^^
(i dunno and have no knowledge abit 1st aid but assigned the 1st aid job...>w<  abit weird)
my task there~
standing and sitting with the 1st aid box in a gang of ppl with their private function going on~~
it was a malay gang of manymany familys~~
they invite many different show and animals to their party to give joyful to their kids...
got a little horse
then a little but quite long geh snake snake too!!
there i have my 1st experience of see-ing snake pee and butt butt~~  >w<
i watch a magician show too~~ 
 then after a lunch break~~
back to selling book (donation for ZOO) at the font-line counter to the ZOO visitors
haha...  it's very scary cos eugene setting up timing for all of us to seel the book in a limited time...
>m<   and at the end... my result was the worst of all..  >m< hz...

the most enjoyable time is playing and taking photo at the end of all the work...
>w<  unforgotten memory where we all play with teh bigbig snake...
unbelievable that i realli get touch with it...>w<
so so so brave~~ hahahaha^^ 

it's really a good day~~
tired but happi...
hope to get another time to gather and play at ZOO again~~
hee^^

p/s:  now i have become a little small tour guide for ZOONEGARA le~~  hee^^

9th week :  20 July 2009 - 25 July 2009

Custody = 照管;保管;监护 and also 拘留;监禁

why do i say so??
coz we all are moving to a small big room... working together with our big boss le...
now... no longer can be snake king or snake queen...
tis is not the biggest BLOCK to me...
the biggest is definately becoz cannot eating while working le...  >w<
so sad~~~~~~~~~~

we have spent about 2days for the cleaning and arranging work in office...
>m<  get a small hurt on my knee... 
but comparing with someone...
it is realli just a small case... hahaha^^

this week....
i continue with my job area on the website for EM2U...

maybe i gain some experience from the past...
now... feeling that actualli it is really much more simple than making 480 email template...
hahaha^^
people always like that...
when dunno~   then they scare to take adventure~
once they have know the secret behind the stone...
then they will just laughing why they so scare at the 1st...
hahaha^^
now...
i'm look forward for the ZoO day which will be coming for next week...

will be the main incident that happened in this week...
our big boss...  was admitted to TungShin two days...=m=
so scary when i get know about the news...
but a few minutes later~~
i saw him online posting his condition at facebook~~

6th week :  29 June 2009 - 03 July 2009

Time is passing without notice...Here gone the 6th week at Eworld... and this week, end up with different kind of feelings...  =w=

-- Happi -- 
         because I gain my 1st "reward" on working...  >w<  yeah~!! 
         As promised by Our Big Kind Boss, he will brings us to have a dinner and movie... >o<
         We have our dinner at CampForest,Kepong... A restaurant which full with plants, water and rocks... it's realli nice and "vege" too~~ hahaha^^
         After the dinner, we rush for our 2nd round for that day -- A movie session >w<
         I laugh n laugh n laugh non-stop at the cinema~~
         <Ice Age 3>  realli a great show!!
 **Thanx to our Big Boss that day - Eugene ...  Thanx for giving us a great happi nitez,,,

-- Curious --
       because a gang of people come interview Ooh~~  @.@
       On their 1st day that they come in interview... we all act like ah sou at the market... hahah^^
       Everyone is so curious and want to find out what is going on...
       hahaha^^   very enjoy actualli... 
       so... End up. they all realli get start working at here >w<
       To Our New colleague, WELCOME to EWORLD ya~
**we need to "communicate" much much also... hahaha^^
      
-- Tension --
       because need to choose 20% of our 400 templates and re-edit it  as  "upgrade" ...>m<
       Dealing with the choosing process is the most tough work for us... 
       because different people have different kind of thinking and liking...
       At 1st... we tried hard onli can manage to get around 60-70 templates... 
       Thanx to ah Wai ... cos he helps a lot in this, then onli we can get our 80 templates out...  hahaha^^
       Then, add up with abit OT, we manage to finish the editing work in this week >w< yeah~~
       Cheer Up everyone!!  we get set free from HTML coding finally le~!!  hahaha....

-- New Try --
      We all get a small testing on copywriting skill...
      Although i studied Copywriting before, but when come to real editing time,
      also feel nervous to write.... hahaha^^

-- Miss-ing --
       End up my week 6th, also is the last week for ah wai at Eworld...  >m<
       He is a good colleague and also a good senior...
       Still remember that 1st day when we get into Eworld, he is veri silent....
       who knows, end up we all talk til nonstop...  >w<
       We will missing him because start on monday, there is no one will able to "bulli" back to us le..>w<
       hahaha^^   wish him all teh best la...  Enjoy study^^

What i have learned ....
     From ah wai's opinion,  Email Template is to attract the email readers to read the content and make action on it...
     Therefore, designing a template, color shouldn't find too dark or gloomy~~ if not will look like old newspaper..  hahaha>w<
     Layout need to be interesting enough where try not to be too consistence at the overall...
     Dun choose old look color and sometime, picture that used also manage to change the feeling of the theme...
     So, advised not to choose old old picture too...  >x<
     Think more on what you wanna sell when designing the template...

End up, I think i understand what actualli he want to tell...  but when need to get ready on edit process... this become difficult.. >m<
Just like you have the color in your mind...
but cant get it from the color choosing plate...  >w<
Anyway, ....   always do our best in life ~~
at least pass through our own demarcation...  hee^^

Next mission is coming soon lu~~~   will it be a tough work??
Gonna study more on FLASH le... hahaha^^

Finally....
My group mates and I achieved our 400 template task at the end…
wakaka^^

However,
After we have uploaded our 400 templates to our server,
We only found that errors appeared…  =m=
Such as the background image which had set can’t be viewed...
and some reading error on the coding from different types of email filter…

Actualli…
I really feel quite frustrated at the 1^st when get these errors come across to us
We thought that every thing is going well when we all make reach to our target…
Who knows…? Haiz....

"Always hard to achieve, it takes time and heart to earn"

I know that, and I think we all know that too…
As people always said,

"Do not stop your hard work at half way and never give up when meet with troubles"
Good work must have a good ending too…Hee^^

So… in order to…
keep the promise that we had made,
and of cos also to gain the rewards that promised by our big boss -- Eugene..
We have no choice~~
Gonna pay more time on it to solve it loh~~

**this is some good tips to review which found on this week**

When designing Email Template,
We are not recommending using image as the background
Because server would not filter it…=m=

Some coding not recommend to use…

     background-image: url(  );
     background-position: left center right;
     background-attachment: scroll fixed none;
     background-repeat: repeat no-repeat repeat-x repeat-y;

** try not to use margin in the coding, replace it with padding code
because hotmail do not read margin coding…

** when setting out a background color…
is recommend to use  bgcolor= “”   instead of     style= “background-color: ;”
Because Gmail do not accept the background-color code…

** in the image coding part,
  style= “ float: ; ”    is not recommend to use… replace with align= “left right”

2nd week : 1 June 2009 - 6 June 2009

Things that i have learnt during this week:

• Get my 1st experience to use the fax machine...  >w<
• Get know to differentiate email template and webpage template
• Layout of a design is important especially when designing the webpage template and email template
• Color matching skill need to improve as different color create different type of theme and feeling to the overall design.
• Get involved with the new software - HTML-kit
  • stil feel very uncomfortable with the new software   =w=

< In Brief >
Understanding about the design work which focus in webpage template and email template,
Different template need a different kind of design in term of their content layout,
as well as the color that choose also need to be suitable for the theme that made.

As for me now, i feel that Email template seem to be more simple in design comparing to the Web template.
But due to that "simple"....it makes the design more diffficult as i cant get myself "out of the box"~~

Challenging is going to be started in this week,
get involved with the new software - HTML-kit that i never learn before.
feeling very hard to learn this new software as it contains many coding part which i may need to take times to get myself use to it.
Hopefully can get used to it very very soon larr....

Things that i have learnt during this week:

• Understanding of six types of company products and services
• Learn to use the printing machine at office 
• When creating campaign or product design, there are few things that should be consider:
  1. Understanding about the Product Usage, Features and Details of it as help to promote
  2. Use less or no money to run a successful business - Sponsor
     How To Make People Sponsor You?
     As people get the GOOD or valuable, they willing to spend
          (the story of  sponsorship in a creative and meaning book and
           get money from the sponsor to print as the sponsor person also get benefits)
  3. Sometime is good that can learn from other's design even in different type of medium
      (eg. refer to the competitor's design on brochure or official website )
  4. Important elements that MUST be consider and included in every single design or work
     • the contact info - Enable people to make the action to purchase or find us.
     • the content of design - Be Specific, Short but people can uhnderstand what is all about

Fresh Experience for my intern 1st job.
During the 1st week of my intern, i learnt a lot of things as it also improving myself
from my skill of drawing, idea brainstorming, as well as changing the way of thinking of "working".
So far, i think i like the environment and feeling of working at Eworld.
